As for me and my house, we will serve the Lord.

Obeying the call of God to go into the Dominican Republic, Uriel and Becky Castrillon along with their four small children moved from the United States to Barahona in 1997. Armed with a vision from Jesus to share His Gospel with people in unreached areas, the Castrillon family began to hold evangelistic outreaches and plant churches in the Southern part of the Dominican Republic.

Today they oversee five churches in the towns of Cristobal, Salinas, Saladillo and Polo. The ministry is continually expanding seeking to purchase and build new church buildings to accommodate the new believers coming to faith in Christ.

In addition, the ministry has a strong outreach program to children with Child Development Centers in the towns of Cristobal and Saladillo. In cooperation with Compassion International and the Dominican National Council for Children and Adolescents the Bread of Life Centers assists over 600 children in a daily, 4-hour, after school educational program that includes one nutrition meal.

We are endeavoring to prepare these children to lead successful lives and affect positive change in the country of the Dominican Republic and the world.
